“Panda and Rooster” aired at Rádio e Televisão de Portugal

On July 4, the Chinese-Portugal show “Panda and Rooster” debuted on Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, the major broadcaster covering continental Portugal, the Azores, Madeira, Portuguese-speaking African countries and the west coast of North America.

It is a large-scale animation project by CCTV Animation Group and Portugal Index Coordinates. The show was created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the 20th anniversary marking the return of Macau to China.

The cartoon speaks a lively language of narration attractive to every child. Each episode is imbued with the cultural spirit of China and Portugal — with rich colors, dynamic visuals and stories full of warmth and heart. The film gives children a great opportunity to understand Chinese culture and get acquainted with the traditional values of the country.
