“Panda and Rooster” aired at CCTV in China

On December 18, the animated series "Panda and Rooster" aired on the children's channel of the China Central Television.

The cartoon was co-created by Chinese and Portuguese animation teams. The show unveils the adventures of a hospitable panda bear and his new friend, rooster Luta from Portugal.

The show is a part of a large multicultural animation project "Panda+", developed by the China Central Television. All project series are united by one main character — a kind and inquisitive panda Hehe. In each show he meets new friends from different countries of the world.

Some of the “Panda+” series produced jointly with Czech, New Zealand and South Africa studios have already been released. Most of their main characters may be commonly perceived as recognizable symbols of the above countries, which should intensify the cross-cultural focus.

The producers of "Panda and Rooster" expect the show to be further broadcast not only in China but also in Portugal and possibly in other countries.
