“Bread Barbershop”. 1st rank in view ratings after the premiere in Korea

On the 3rd of January, “Bread Barbershop” broadcast on the leading Korean children's channels, KBS and Toonivers. The show reached top rank on both channels shortly after the premier. It is the 1st project by Monster, the Korean animation and production studio. The company has been working on the show since 2016, and the debut turned out a success. Apart from the release in South Korea, the series are soon to be aired in Vietnam and Indonesia. Monster Studio is going to negotiate releases in Europe as well as in North and Latin America.

The cartoon demonstrates funny everyday incidents in a very unusual barbershop — with a chocolate cupcake as an administrator, a milk carton as an assistant, and a slice of bread making gorgeous hairstyles for all kinds of visitors. All the characters have bright distinctive personalities. The hilarious situations they face in each episode teach kids to be kinder and more tolerant of others. The comedy series consists of 39 episodes for children aged 6-10 years. The producers have already started preparing for the creation of the 2nd season.
