On March 5 TV channel "Carousel" premiered the long-awaited animated series "Sonic Boom." in Russia

"Sonic Boom" – is a new TV series of the cult media franchise about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, which is based on a popular video games Sonic the Hedgehog. The creation of the cartoon engaged US subsidiary Sega together with French animation studio OuiDo! Entertainment.

Cartoon is targeted to audience of 6 to 10 years. Total "Sonic Boom" will consist of 104 episodes. In 2016 "Sonic" is celebrating his 25th anniversary.
