May 1st on Okko: The premiere of the animated series "Hero Inside" – two seasons at once

Starting May 1th, 2026, the first and second seasons of the animated adventure series "Hero Inside" will be available on the video service Okko.

"Hero Inside" is a joint project between animators from South Korea, China, Thailand, and Vietnam, created in collaboration with Million Volt Animation. The series combines a dynamic storyline, a memorable visual style, and an unusual superhero concept that will appeal to both teens and adults.

What's the series about?

Talented artist Scott created 100 unique superhero comics and mysteriously disappeared. One day, an ordinary teenager named Mike discovers one of the issues. Accidentally reading the character's name out loud, he is surprised to discover that the hero has come to life and is now forced to follow his commands. Mike quickly realizes he's not the only one who's found the magical comics. Other "readers" are using superheroes for their own gain, from robberies to real crimes. Now Mike and his friends must collect all 100 books, stop the perpetrators, and solve the mystery of the artist Scott's disappearance.

"Hero Inside" isn't just another superhero animated series. It's a story about the power of imagination, about how a hero can live inside everyone, if you just believe in yourself. Thanks to its vibrant computer graphics, unexpected plot twists, and sparkling humor, the project has already received high marks at international festivals, including MIPJunior 2023.
