Beyond Dubbing: How We Localize Every Frame - The Hero Inside Case Study

In most cases, localization of animated and television content is limited to dialogue translation and dubbing. The CLS Media team follows a fundamentally different approach.

While working on the animated series Hero Inside, CLS Media delivered an extensive graphic localization of the project. The majority of on-screen elements were adapted - including in-frame text, interfaces, titles, signage, and visual graphics.

This work is an integral part of our standard production workflow and is carried out manually by CLS Media’s in-house video designers, with full respect for the original artistic style and creative intent. Such an approach requires a high level of expertise and significant resources, but it is precisely what allows the localized content to feel cohesive, organic, and premium for the audience.

CLS Media’s approach to graphic localization clearly stands out in the Russian animation and television market due to its depth of execution and quality of craftsmanship.
